Peter Beardsley is aPatent Attorney at NovoTech Patent Firm, based out of Cleveland, OH. As an experienced patent attorney, Peter specializes in patent preparation and prosecution, with significant expertise in robotics, industrial systems, chemical processing systems and controls, fluid dynamics systems, and computer software and hardware innovations.
Peter has prepared and prosecuted patent applications across a wide range of industries, including electrical, chemical, and mechanical arts, quantum computing, computer software, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), internet based technologies, mechanical designs, high voltage power systems and power generation, and industrial communications and control systems. Peter also has significant experience in patent appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, as well as counseling clients on matters related to patent validity and infringement.
Peter’s legal career includes serving as a Partner at Omnus Law, working in-house at Binks US LLC, and as an associate at Curatolo & Sidoti LPA in Cleveland, OH. He has also contributed to his community through providing pro bono legal counsel to the Chagrin Valley Jaycees. Before entering the legal field, Peter gained technical experience as an Information Professional officer in the United States Navy.
Peter earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he also served as Editor in Chief of War Crimes Prosecution Watch and as a Lead Editor on the Journal of Law, Technology, and the Internet.
Peter is a admitted to practice in Ohio, the federal courts of the Northern District of Ohio, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
