In addition to significant technical experience, we also have significant legal experience representing clients in the computer science, software, and electrical engineering industries. We team with innovators and in-house counsels to establish strategic patent portfolios in targeted technologies.
We are experienced in the art of brainstorming and invention harvesting and routinely travel to clients’ facilities to meet with inventors and to understand their innovations. We are also experienced in conducting personal interviews with Examiners at the USPTO. Through these interviews, we have succeeded in expediting the prosecution of many cases.
NovoTech Patent Firm utilizes a cloud-based patent management system, which significantly increases productivity while reducing costs and risks of running a successful patent practice. The system provides document management (including document creation), docketing, and time and billing management, all specifically geared to patent law firms, which significantly reduces redundancies. The system allows for secure web-based real-time access to IP-related documents for our staff from anywhere they may be located.
The system also allows for an easy import/export of data. For example, if you wish to transfer your patent matters to us, you can provide a spreadsheet identifying the cases, which will be used to transfer data into the system, as recently done for a client. For already-filed US patent applications, we can automatically import data from PAIR, populating case information, as well as prosecution history and auto-generated due dates.
